Rural Garden—June 17:
Sunflowers, which were started under the grow light, starting to make progress.
Planted corn three times. Was finally the beneficiary of some starts that a friend gave me. Instant corn patch. Watered them in well, doused them with Ormus and Steve Diver's special mixture from Sustainable Growth Texas and they doubled in size in a couple days.
Tomatoes and tomatillos looking good. Tomatillos seem to be growing at least and inch a day.
Squash in a stump experiment working so far. Mustard greens going crazy.
Beets are great. Had salad for three days off the thinnings.
Garlic appears rust free so far.
Bush beans. These are all from Krista Rome. Some did not germinate well (no photo).
Potatoes being hilled up. Some have bloom buds.
The green manure is going crazy.
Me and my assistant having a staff meeting in the office trying to figure out where the giant lupine came from.
This is a good one. Bookmarked. Will check out more. Great post.
